Venezuela's Maduro combats dissidence among ruling socialists

CARACAS (Reuters) - Venezuela's ruling Socialist Party began a six-day congress on Saturday with President Nicolas Maduro seeking to quieten hardliners who believe the state is failing to stem corruption or fix the economy.
